Transport links: Bus to Silves and Albufeira at the bottom of the road and within easy reach of the railway which carries a regular train service from Tunes to Lagos. Nearest train station 2 kilometres away at Alcantarilha. Faro airport 40 minutes by road. Collection and return to Faro airport can be arranged for a reasonable charge. Shopping: Supermarkets at Silves, bars, cafe and shop in Poco Barreto. Entertainment: Dancing every Friday, Saturday and Sunday in Poco Barreto.
